July 13: Starbucks -- Free Starbucks Refreshers Beverages. Starbucks is hawking more than just coffee these days, don'tcha know? The increasingly diverse chain is handing our free 12 ounce "Refreshers" at participating stores from 12-3 p.m. They're made from green coffee extract, taken from non-roasted beans, and claim to pack the same energy impact with naturally occurring caffeine and without coffee flavor.

July 14: Dippin' Dots -- Free Dippin' Dots Clusterz. Despite filing for Chapter 11 last year the vendor of pelleted "ice cream of the future" is still in business, and it's doling out samples of "Clusterz" - ice cream dots clustered with rich crunchy chocolate.
